Anyone who is even remotely interested in history or

unbelievable opportunity offered by RR Auction. In the purpose of celebrating
100 years since John F. Kennedy was born, the auction house has put together an
impressive collection of rare items related or connected to the President.
Bidding on these collectibles started on May 11 and will conclude on May 18.
Anyone is welcome to browse the online catalogue and even place a bid on their
favorite item.
One of the most valuable collectibles in this lot is
John F. Kennedy’s personally owned and signed senate ID
card.
This is, without a doubt, an absolutely unique item as it also comes with a
letter of authenticity from Evelyn Lincoln, John F. Kennedy’s secretary. The
2.5X3.75 inch ID card features a picture of the former American president and
is signed in full in fountain pen. The back reads: “United States Senate, This is to certify that the person
whose photograph and signature appear on the reverse side of this card is a
Member of the United States Senate.” The Id card was estimated at around
$25,000 given the fact that it is such an unique piece of history.
One other amazing item in
this collection, which was actually estimated at $20,000 is a 1963 holiday card signed by both John and Jacqueline Kennedy. This 4.5X 6.5 inches
(closed) card features an image of the nativity scene on the front.
Additionally, the holiday card has the engraved greeting “With best wishes for
a Happy New Year” on the front and “With our wishes for a Blessed Christmas and
a Happy New Year,” on the inside. It is estimated that there were around 2,200
White House holiday cards published that year. However, it is remarkable just
how this one has remained in an exceptional condition.
Last, but not least,
another impressive item in this collection is a pair of gold and black eagle bookends owned
by John F. Kennedy ever since he was a senator and throughout his career as
President of the United States. The two book ends measure 5.75X 8X 5,75 each
and are in fine condition. This item is also accompanied not only by an in
depth letter of provenance signed by Kennedy’s secretary, Evelyn Lincoln but by
two pictures of John F. Kennedy with the bookends on his desk. The bookends are
estimated somewhere over $10,000.
